Villages & families

Settlements

The villages and towns where Kethwal families live, from the Murree Hills to the plains of Punjab.

Kethwal families are found across Pakistan, but the tribe’s roots are in the hills of Murree and Kotli Sattian. In the 1881 census the whole tribe lived in five villages around Charhan; today the list below runs to dozens of villages and neighbourhoods. Search for your village, or click Show on map to see each area.

Markers show the approximate centre of each tehsil, not exact village locations.
